Kaluga Oblast, Dzerzhinsky district.

220 km from Moscow and 42 km away from Kaluga. The settlement is located in an ecologically clean area and borders on the territory of Ugra National Park. The river flows 2 km from the settlement.

In the city of Kaluga in 2006 was created non-commercial partnership (NP) Svetlodar (the LIGHT of Love, Uniting, Giving Joy). The administration of Dzerzhinsky district with the assistance of the Governor of the Kaluga region allocated 150 hectares of land for the settlements.

The land is owned on a non-commercial Partnership at the beginning of 2010. This was mainly done because of the high rents of land in Dzerzhinsk district. The land will not be issued in private property yet.

The size of the areas is from 1 to 2 hectares. Plots are mostly rectangular in form, 120 to 100 m. There are 100 plots, 70 of them have already found their owners (29.03.2012)

We have a very beautiful land. Several fields on which grow pine and birch shoots, separated by copses and small birch groves.

We have started to create our Settlement in the spring of 2006.

The settlement is ALREADY active – at the moment (winter 2011-2012) 37 families resident permanently on his plots (71 adults and 45 children).

Electricity
There are no plans to connect plots to the electricity mains. There are self-contained solar panels and/or generator in the settlement.

Gas Pipeline
Not planned. For cooking we use gas bottle and for heating we use modern efficient wood-burning stove.

Water supply system
Not planned. We’re digging personal wells (15-20 meters to water), there are springs near the settlement.

47 major buildings and more than 35 huts and sheds are already built. There is a wonderful school equipped with the latest technology in the nearby village, 6 km away from the village. But all of our school-age children are studying at home and pass subject tests in this school without attending classes.

In the settlement were built a common house and a playground.

In the near future will begin the construction of the Creative centre and there will also be children’s education.
