The first meeting was held at the Russian stove. We prepared various dishes and drinks:

Sbiten
Mead
Vukha
Berry gingerbread
Green cabbage soup
"Broken" cucumbers
New potatoes with herbs
Green bread with wild plants
Rye-wheat hearth bread
Wheat sieve



All seven dishes were cooked from the heat of one Russian oven. Indeed, the oven is a caretaker.



Some of the guests who decided to stay were happy to talk with Yegor, the master who built our beauty and put it into operation. He spoke about both the history of the furnaces themselves and the stages of construction. How many fairy tales, legends, proverbs have been composed about the Russian stove. We enjoyed learning a lot of new and interesting things. For our future meetings we will make it a tradition - a meeting with Yegor with historical immersion.



Some of the dishes were new to the guests, they had not tried them before. "Broken" cucumbers and berry gingerbread disappeared very quickly.



"Broken" cucumbers, because they are beaten off or crushed - they become soft. Then they fry them, but do not add salt. The taste is similar to fried zucchini, but different. They are crunchy and give a fresh aroma.
