Open Letter of Vladimir Megre

So, the year 2016 – a leap year - is on its way out. Much has happened this year, and not all of it joyful, but it’s more pleasant to talk about the beautiful.

The new Russia is continuing to develop and strengthen, and not only Russia. The idea of family homesteads is developing throughout the whole world. Delegations from other countries have already begun coming to Russia: from Japan, the United States of America, Korea, and Germany. I think that the stream of tourists from these countries will increase. And the people from these countries aren’t going to the big metropolises; they’re going to the family homesteads.

It’s also a joy to read the information in the “Ringing Cedars of Russia” newspaper. Now it really and truly is chock full of positive information, information about our party. For those of you who don’t know, I want to say that this year, our party, the “Family Party,” participated in elections in the State Duma of the Russian Federation. It didn’t manage to get into the State Duma, but there were some finer points that indicate that it might easily prevail in the next election and receive the majority of its members in the State Duma.

And what, exactly, are these finer points? After it had gone through all the formalities, had registered, and had held all the required meetings, it reached the threshold where it needed to collect signatures in order to go further. It’s a young party, and inexperienced, and not all the bugs had been worked out. It turned out that all the parties that were required to collect signatures had six days: they had to collect 200,000 signatures in six days. But our party had to collect that number of signatures in just three days. And here’s what happened: the party was able to collect more that 65,000 signatures in three days!

65,000 real, live signatures. That indicates that the party has millions of activists, and if they’re mobilized with the right kind of preparation, the party will be assured of victory. Because this is the only party that has a precise, distinct, clear, and inspired program, which is called Family Homesteads. Think about it: Family Party – Family Homesteads. This program makes it possible for each person to take action. This isn’t just those on the left or the right. Many people don’t understand what that even means. This isn’t just patriotism. It’s not just, “Let’s love our Homeland.”

This party has a program which distinctly and clearly calls on people to take concrete action: to create their own family homestead.

What exactly is a family homestead? It actually is patriotism; it actually is love for one’s Homeland, love for one’s family, love for one’s beloved woman, and for one’s children. And to express all of this not just in words, but in deeds. This is such a strong, powerful and beautiful idea, a beautiful dream, that it is, of course, Russia’s national idea, and a model for the whole world. These aren’t just my words; this has already been shown in actual practice.

You can judge for yourself. In my greetings last year, I said that readers of the “Ringing Cedars of Russia” books have already created 250 residential areas without any governmental support. So, 250 settlements in the last year, and this year, there are already more than 300 of them. There’s an increase of 50 settlements happening each year; they’re increasing incrementally.

This idea represents a new model for Russia and for the whole world. It is a dream about the future; it is today’s people creating the future. And that’s the most important thing. Let’s say we’re talking about localization. But probably not everyone knows that there are “Ringing Cedars of Russia” stores. These stores sell products that are grown and produced on family homesteads in Russia. They’re something along the lines of the merchant Eliseev’s stores that popped up in Moscow and Saint Petersburg back before the Revolution. They were the best stores, and they were distinctive both in their décor and their quality.

Now, imagine that the products produced in the Siberian village of Kandaurovo are sold not just in Russia, but in the United States of America and in Europe, too. This trend is a development trend and a trend toward friendly interactions between the peoples of different countries.

I’ve been in the Baltic countries, and I’ve seen the way our family homestead representatives are welcomed at the House of Friendship. These are enormous gatherings, and there is no antipathy whatsoever, and it’s as if there’s no distinction between the various peoples. Now this, of course, is inspiring.

I want to list the countries where the books are being published, where people who think the same way you do are living, without any sense of boundaries, speaking different languages, understanding each other, and taking action. The first one, of course, is Russia. Armenia, Austria, Bulgaria, China, Croatia, the Czech Republic and Slovakia, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Japan, Korea, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, and the USA.

I think that this kind of friendship between peoples will grow stronger. It will break through any kind of isolation. It will conquer all darkness with its goodness.

2017 is beginning. Many people are comparing it to 1917, when the October Revolution took place, and when Soviet rule began. And something will happen this year. But this something will be beautiful, everlasting, and joyous. Therefore, I want to offer my best wishes to all people, first of all to my readers, who will live in the beautiful future that they build with their own hands.

With all my heart, I offer my best wishes to the team at the “Ringing Cedars of Russia” company in the village of Kandaurovo. You produce a genuinely high quality product – Siberian cedar nut oil. You are astonishing the world. It’ll be good if this product conquers all countries. I think that’s what will happen. Keep up the good work!

I also want to offer my wishes to all the dealers of the “Ringing Cedars of Russia” company who work in various cities and who bring people the idea and the products.. Keep up the good work!

Happy New Year!
