Do you like strawberries? We are - very much!
But before I didn’t plant her a lot - it’s very complicated to look after her! Weeds, runners. You miss a little, and it’s over, dig it up. I experimented a lot. And I came to this way: fill the beds with a thick (15 cm) layer of sawdust. That Lyied down for some time, naturally. There are fewer weeds, and most importantly, both weeds and runners can be quickly removed, because the roots are in sawdust, and not in the ground





Here's what happened now.



During these two months we approached the strawberries twice: once Slavik (8 years old) pulled out single weeds, and the second time they watered them to make the berries bigger.
