18 October, The largest healing cedar grove of the capital has appeared in Kiev today!
This unique significant event took place thanks to the initiative and activity of young children and students. Who by their vivid example show others how it is possible and necessary to improve the world around them, improving the common environment for all.



9 active student-organizers in the shortest possible time agreed with the administration of the university on permission and allocation of a place for planting, found and inspired "green" patrons to purchase seedlings and protective fences for them. We organized a car from the university to the nursery for the valuable cargo (the car drove out twice). We bought fences and made very stylish wooden plaques with the names of the people who supported the landing.





Such a powerful, active young energy was supported by 25 "green" patrons! Moreover, amazing things happened right on the eve of landing. It was originally supposed to take place on Saturday 17 October. By that time, the project was supported by 12 people, whose contributions were used to purchase 22 cedars with fences for them. They were going to be planted on the very day of the All-Ukrainian action "Greening of Ukraine" on Saturday. By order of the university administration, the landing was postponed to Sunday morning the night before. And just imagine, literally in one day another 13 people respond to support the planting of cedars in Kiev with contributions, thanks to which the cedar alley around the university building turned into a cedar grove of 50 trees. One of the deposits came from Canada!



The rector, vice-rector and two deans of the National Medical University took part in the laying of the cedar grove.



The "green" patrons of the project came as cheerful friendly companies and families. With jokes and laughs, with good wishes to seedlings to grow for centuries - they planted, mulched, set fences, planted irises to cedars. It was very joyful to watch the children at the planting. One of them was still in her mother's tummy, she was actively planting cedars with her, she went on an excursion to the nursery after landing, and very soon she would see the kind world created for her by loving, caring parents.



When we were planting the last cedars, the long-awaited sun broke through the clouds, warmed the space and slightly frozen, but very happy and smiling participants with its warm rays.



Let all the planted cedars take root, let a mighty cedar grove grow in this place, which will eventually become a living healing health resort of the entire region and city. May all the good wishes of people said to the cedars during planting come true! Kind, peace and love forever!
