It is interesting that cows have introduced a lot of factors into our life we haven't  thought about before.

They have balanced our economic system. They made me develop skills in time management, strategic and economic planning. Cows have become the measure of our maturity and responsibility.

We live in a taiga environment. Moreover, the Ussuri one. It means an unusually fast, I would even say, an aggressively growing forest. We have a much more urgent issue of not planting a forest, but its containment. Trees have to be weeded out from the beds and mowed down from the mowing.

So far we have mastered only a small part of our Kin Domain. Out of three hectares, at most 5000 m3. Over the years, the rest began to overgrow with forest and weeds, however, once it was an excellent meadow with herbs, the locals mowed here and even planted potatoes.

Therefore, everything would have overgrown, because there are a million cases, and hands did not reach the mowing, but cows appeared. And mowing, whether you want it or not, came to the fore.



As a result, the other day I walked around the entire estate, amazed at how beautiful and well-groomed it is, how pleasant and long you can walk along it, admiring the mountains, trees, emerald aftermath of overgrown grass, clumps of rosehip bushes with bright beads of berries, which just ask for mouth.

Andrei carefully mowed some of the trees, and they brought variety and structure to the landscape of the KD. The clearing clearly stood out, as the eldest daughter likes. She had already dreamed of her KD there.



Therefore, cows mean not only tasty and healthy milk!
- This is a clear schedule that sets the tone for the whole day.
- This is a beautiful manor house and surrounding area.
- This is a very powerful educational element for children who help with mowing, milking, sit with the baby while their dad and I go to milk.
- This is a manifestation of care, affection and love, gratitude for the milk - both adults and children.

By the way, children not only use fresh products, they understand where they come from and how much work is invested in them. They had the opportunity to compare our milk with another, bought from other owners, and they themselves voluntarily decided to wait for our own. It costs a lot.



Therefore, large farm animals are a lot of work, a serious test of the strength of spirit and body. Relationships between neighbors are also under pressure.

However, if they are included in your farm as an element of the general permaculture of the KD, as an educational and labor element of the family, as an economic factor, then this is great.



In the end, when your hands squeeze the cow's nipples, and the white streams ring against the bottom of the bucket, something unimaginably ancient and dear awakens in you, so right, natural that it takes your breath away ...
