Celebration of Dwarves and lanterns in KDS Skazochniy Kray (Fabulous Land) 10.12.2020 12:48:49
The first snow
We had a Celebration of Dwarves and lanterns in the settlement.
Obtaining the inner light during the ordeal of darkness is the main motive of this holiday.
In November, a sunny day is quite short and you want to find warmth and comfort. Now he is almost absent in the outside world. Therefore, one of the symbols of this holiday is a lantern.
Dwarves are funny and very mysterious, and a secret is always very attractive. They know that nothing bad can happen to one who believes in miracles. This holiday helps to survive the cold and darkness of the coming winter.
Preparations for the holiday began at each house a couple of weeks before. It was necessary to make a lantern together with a child and learn two songs. Electric candles were bought for children.
Our daughter Alora wanted to make a paper lantern with windows. To do this, we painted a A4 sheet of paper with gouache. After drying, it was outlined so that it was then easier to assemble and glue. Cut out the windows. They pasted the tracing paper, put dried flowers on it and glued another piece of tracing paper on top.

The Dwarves gave the children a present, but Dwarf jokers hid it. Therefore, the children went in search of treasure, looking for clues. The dwarves gave the children wooden Christmas decorations.
