The Yandex company together with the "Cedar Trail" makes the cedar map of Moscow 10.12.2020 13:12:35

In October, the results of the Moscow Mayor's Grant Competition for non-profit organizations were summed up.

Among the winners there is an NGO «Cedar Trail».
We are very glad that the government of Moscow appreciated the importance of wildlife, our favorite cedars in restoring health, positive mood of the inhabitants of the Russian metropolis.
Now, if you go to Yandex maps, type in the search bar "CEDAR NATURE" or simply "CEDAR", you will see all the places where cedar grows in Moscow.



The air of the metropolis depends on the presence of healthy forests. Today, Moscow is one of the most polluted cities in the world, although in the 80s it was considered one of the greenest in the world. Over the past 20 years, the environmental situation in the capital has deteriorated significantly due to air pollution from the exhaust gases of several tens of millions of cars and the reduction of forest park areas due to large-scale construction.

Cedars as a forest-forming species, are able to naturally increase biodiversity and make the air sterile, relieve fatigue, encourage. This is one of the important arguments for the need of planting it in the metropolis.


The project "Moscow cedar groves" provides creation of cedar little cedar groves - an ecosystem in the form of "taiga meadows" and mini-nurseries, where we will grow cedars, other perennials that can create a unique effect of taiga presence.
