Calligraphy in the Dolina Radosti Settlement 20.07.2023 20:37:29

For the third year in the Dolina Radosti Settlement, calligraphy classes have been held.



At first, the children practiced with a flat brush and black gouache in order to understand how narrow and wide lines are created.



Then they worked with pen and ink, working out various embellishments as they mastered working with a pen.



This season we are working with elements and letters. We plunge into the wonderful world of hooks and sticks, from which all the letters of the alphabet are obtained.



Among other things, the stages of mastering writing with a pen are related to the age of the children. We started when many of them had not yet gone to the first grade. Today all them are seven or more years old, so we are boldly moving forward and the children are doing great.
