Dear Vladimir Megre,

Congratulatios with your birthday, the Day of the Gardeners and Celebration Day of The Earth!

Today we did send a letter to the Duma and President Dimitri Medvedev with the following content (see English translation below):

Exloo, 23 juli 2011

Geachte President Dimitri Medvedev,

Wij, toekomstige bewoners van Anastasiadorp in Borger-Odoorn, Drenthe – Nederland, groeten U hartelijk.

Wij zijn vandaag bijeen om de Dag van de Volkstuinder en Feestdag van de Aarde te vieren met de lezers van de boeken van de Anastasia reeks, geschreven door Vladimir Megre.

Wij weten dat een dergelijke feestdag in Rusland in diverse steden wordt gevierd, doch streven naar een “Internationale Dag van de Volkstuinder en Feestdag van de Gehele Aarde”.

Zoals Rusland de “Feestdag van de Eenheid” viert van de Russische Federatie op 12 november, zo zien wij graag in de zomer een Wereldwijde “Feestdag van de Aarde”, waardoor de mensen Moeder Aarde hun liefde kunnen betuigen in onderlinge eenheid en verbondenheid en innig contact met de natuur.

Daar deze dag door de Russische schrijver Vladimir Megre is voorgesteld, zou het mooi zijn, als Rusland ook als eerste deze Feestdag wettelijk maakt, zodat dit Internationaal kan worden nagevolgd.

Wij verzoeken u daarom om 23 juli in te stellen als wettelijke vastgestelde “Dag van de Volkstuinder en Feestdag van de gehele Aarde”.

Wij zijn er van overtuigd dat de instelling van deze feestdag zal bijdragen tot het geluk van de hele Mensheid.

Wij sturen dit verzoek ook aan de Tweede Kamer van het Nederlands Parlement en aan het Europees Parlement.

Gaarne vernemen wij Uw persoonlijke mening in deze en de mogelijkheid dit verzoek om te zetten in een offici?le wet.

Wij zenden onze hartelijke groeten aan het Russische Volk, die deze bijzondere Siberische vrouw Anastasia heeft voortgebracht en de begenadigde schrijver Vladimir Megre.

Dear President Dmitry Medvedev,

We, future residents of Anastasiadorp in Borger-Odoorn, Drenthe - Netherlands, greet you warmly.

We are gathered today to celebrate the "Day of the Gardeners and Celebration Day of the Earth" with the readers of the books of the Anastasia series, written by Vladimir Megre.

We know that such a public holiday in Russia is celebrated in several cities, but we strive for an "International Day of the Gardeners and Celebration Day of the Whole Earth".

As Russia celebrates the "Feast of Unity" of the Russian Federation on November 12, we do like to see a Worldwide "Feast of the Earth" in summer, on which people can express their love to Mother Earth in unity and solidarity and heartfelt contact with nature.

Since this day is proposed by the Russian writer Vladimir Megre, it would be nice if Russia would be also the first to make this Celebration Day legal, so it can be emulated International.

We therefore ask you to set July 23 as the legal set "Day of the Gardeners and Celebration Day of the whole Earth".

We are convinced that the legal setting of this holiday will contribute to the happiness of all Humanity.

We will send this request to the House of Dutch Parliament and the European Parliament.

Please let us know your personal opinion in this and the possibility to turn this request into an official law.

We send our warmest greetings to the Russian People, that brought forth this special Siberian woman Anastasia and your gifted writer Vladimir Megre.
