Funtik cat's vegetable preferences at kin domain “Lebyodushki” 29.04.2020 11:57:25

It’s never boring with pets in a kin domain! And generally it’s never boring with them anywhere... They regularly do something funny that makes us laugh so much and then we often remember it.

Just the other day, Vanya peeled and cut a pumpkin, and then I cooked pea-pumpkin soup from it. The peelings were thrown into the bin. Soon Funtik (the cat) came back from the outside and I heard how he ate with appetite, chewing and champing... I came up and what did I see? He didn’t eat what he had in his bowl, but took out pumpkin peels from the bin and ate them with great appetite. He also growled at the other cat when that one came up to him. So he was “steeling” those peelings for two days, until I threw everything away into the compost.



And also, a day earlier, I was cooking beet-root, and put it in the corridor to cool off. The cats were there. After some time I came back for the plate and I saw that some beet-roots are bitten. I thought well, the cats probably decided to try what it’s like, and they didn’t like it. It turns out I was wrong. Later Funtik was caught at the crime scene again, when he pulled out beet peels from the bin and ate them as a special treat.



He turned out to be a chocolate lover. But we didn’t expect that he would be a great fan of raw vegetables. And I also had to fight him off when I poured myself a mug of hot chocolate. I noticed in good time that he was sticking his face where he shouldn't, and took the mug off the table. I had to put him outside. Otherwise he simply wouldn’t let me drink my hot chocolate. The aroma from it was much stronger than from the bar of chocolate. That is why it affected the cat in such way.

Our red fidget managed to smear with soot as we were cleaning the oven.



There was some kind of blockage in the oven and it began to smoke. So for a whole week Funtik walked around as a commando - with a black stripe on his cheek.
