Dapple deer in the Dobryanka settlement 02.09.2020 16:11:32
We had a photo session in the Dobryanka settlement, near the Bolgurs. First time I visited a reindeer farm.
Dapple deer live here. Although they are shy animals, and a little tame at the same time, they ate apples and grain from our hands.
The males now have soft horns, they will ossify by winter, and in April the deer shed them. In nature, they live in Japan, China, Korea, Vietnam, in Russia - in Primorye. They eat herbaceous plants, acorns, nuts and fruits, leaves of trees and shrubs, mushrooms and berries. They eat algae, crabs and fish on the seashore. The lifespan of dapple deer in the wild is up to 14 years, in captivity, 18-20 years. Here is a little immersion in the life of deer.
Of course, I stroked their sides and horns. I rode a horse for the first time, just on a leash, but still. In general, there are many animals here; there is something to see with children - black pigs, a handsome peacock along with thoroughbred chickens, rabbits, pheasant, turkeys, horses and even a yak family.
There are also a goat family here and you can try to milk them, what I did.
